Ioan Valentin Ignat has been educated as a visual artist, photography and painting being his first tools for expressing visual ideas.

With a talent for art and design, Valentin start art school at the age of just 14 going deeply to different levels. He is ready with the studies when he reach the age av 25.

Photography started on 36 mm, paper and a dark room. He discovered SLR photography and a medium that captivated his passion for recording life and producing artistic images. With the help of his peers he became engrossed in the subject and spent every spare minute studying and practicing the craft. Learning everything he could about film, optics, darkrooms, shutter speeds and depth of field, Valentin quickly started to create images that became recognized for their impact and professionalism.

Shooting with film in a variety of camera formats including the 5x4 inch cameras and dark slides, Valentin paid close attention to the arrival of digital photography. He made it a priority to establish his skills in the “digital darkroom” called Photoshop and became a professional in retouching services.

When not taking pictures, Valentin spends much of his time working with videocoder enjoying his other passions – Footages, Premiere, Aftereffects.
